The Oscar-nominated anthology horror film Kwaidan manages to capture the viewer unlike few other films of the genre. With breath-taking scenery and a disturbing soundtrack Masaki Kobayashi creates an unbelievable atmosphere. This provides the perfect foundation for these four traditional ghost stories which couldn’t be more diverse.
